Blood Donation Camp Report held on 18-11-09 at JIMS , VK
The blood donation camp was
organized at JIMS Vasant Kunj Campus on 18.11.2009 by Rotary Blood Bank in the
basement, coupled by the active participation of and untiring efforts by the
volunteers and students of JIMS, leading to its success !
The outstanding contribution of 100 units of Blood was donated by students as
well as faculty. There were various kinds of tests done before taking the Blood
to ensure the safe Blood for all.
The certificates of participation for the donors and the volunteers were given
.Also JIMS has been registered under Rotary Blood Bank for future need of blood.
Also Rotary Club is intending to sponsor a Rotaract Club at our campus of JIMS.
Rotaract is a Rotary-sponsored service club for young men and women ages 18 to
30. Rotaract clubs are either community or university based, and they’re
sponsored by a local Rotary club. Rotaractors may also
• Assist in organizing Interact clubs or mentor Interactors
• Participate in Rotary Youth Leadership Awards
• Become Rotary Foundation Ambassadorial Scholars or Group Study Exchange team
members
• Seek membership in their local Rotary club
