French is the second most studied language in the world after English.French is estimated as having 110 million native speakers and 190 million second language speakers. It is an official language in 29 countries.

TEACHING FRENCH LANGUAGE IN JIMS

In view of the importance of this language, JIMS VK had introduced the teaching of this language from August,10. An experienced teacher was recruited to teach the language on every Saturday for 3 hours. The students were prepared for the DELF A1 Examination conducted by Alliance Francaise, a unit of the French Embassy in New Delhi in February, 11.

12 students were successful in this examination that was conducted on 14th Februrary 2011.

COMMENCEMENT OF NEW CLASSES FROM 1st OCTOBER, 2011

This year also we have introduced the teaching of the French Language from 1st October, 2011 leading to the DELF A1 Examination to be conducted by Alliance Francaise, New Delhi in February,2012.

Classes are being held on every Saturday.
