Photography Competition & Exhibition

Imagination is the mental construct that gives birth to a vision. A vision to effect something trivial and yet see the ripples of that change, change the world. At Iris’09 we believe in the power of that imagination and enable one to use it to craft and visualize, build and implement, inspire and motivate. A photographer not only captures the moments into pictures but also give them special meaning and function with his imagination.

It was organized on 14th November 2009 Saturday at JIMS vasant Kunj IP campus. It was pan Delhi event in which students from colleges in IP, DU, JNU, Amity Jamia university took part. Apart from universities students of photography in different institutes also took part in the event. Apart from this we also invited professional photographers for special display.

Chief guest for the event was Mr O.P. Sharma. Who is one of India’s most distinguished Photographer with international fame. His masterpieces were preserved in museum of USA, erstwhile USSR, Brazil and Australia.
In our college also Bjmc-3 has photography as theory as well as practical subject. This event not only provides opportunity for them to showcase their talent but also interact with professionals in the field and learns from their work. Apart from exhibition we also organized workshop for them. The workshop was conducted by Mr Jatin Singh who is renowned fashion photographer.
