RULES & REGULATIONS

KSHITIJ – 2010

Date: 25^th Feb, 2010

Time: 0900 hrs. – 1700 hrs.

Venue: Kalkaji Campus

1.         Solo Song – Film / Non Film / Classical Western (Sur Aur Taal)

            Rules

·                     Two participants from each institute/ college.

·                     Time limit of 3 minutes

·                     Negative marking if participants exceeds time limit.

2.         Solo Dance (Fusion)

Rules

·                     Two participants from each institute/ college.

·                     Time limit of 3 minute.

·                     Props will not be provided.

·                     Negative marking in case participant exceed time limit.

·                     Choice of song open to the participants.

3.         Theme Play (Darpan)

            Rules

·                     One team (maximum 10 members) from each institute/ college.

·                     Time limit 15-20 minutes

·                     No props will be provided

4.         Ad-Mad Show (Hard Sell)

            Rules

·                     One team from each institute/ college comprising of 4 members.

·                     Product will be given on the spot.

·                     Participants to carry necessary material.

·                     Time limit : 2 minutes for preparation, 3 minutes for presentation.

5.         Collage Making

            Rules: Topic will be provided two days before the event.

·                     One team from each institute/ college comprising of two members.

·                     Time Limit: 45 minutes.

·                     No material will be provided.

6.      Face Painting (Picassa)

         Rule: Topic will be given on Spot.

·                           One team from each institute/ college comprising of two members.

·                           Time Limit: 30 minutes.

·                           No material will be provided.

7.     Antakshari (Jugal Bandi)

         Rule

·                           One team from each institute/ college comprising of 3 members.

·                           Total number of rounds four.

CELEBRITY NITE

Date: 26^th Feb, 2010

Time: 1400 hrs. – 1900 hrs.

Venue: Hansdhwani Theatre, Pragati Maidan

1.         Group Dance (Fusion)

            Rules

·                     Dance (Mix of East & West)

·                     One team from each institute/ college.

·                     Time limit of 6 minutes.

·                     Participation in a team upto 12 members.

·                     No pros will be provided.

·                     Negative marking if participants exceed time limit.

·                     Participation teams would be judged on the basis of “Rhythm. Formation. Synchronization, Expressions, Costumes, Makeup, Sets and Overall effects.

2.         Fashion Show (Bold n Beautiful)

Rules

·                     Time limit of 12 minutes.

·                     One team from each institute/ college comprising of 15 members.

·                     Theme selection open to the team.

·                     Negative marking if participants exceed time limit.

·                     Focus will be on clothing and portrayal of theme.

·                     No. CD, Cassette or props will be provided.

3.         Mr. & Ms. Kshitij (Adonis n Venus)

            Rules

·                     Four participants (02 girls & 02 boys) from each institute/ college.

·                     The overall personality of participants will be judged by eminent personalities from the field of art and culture.

·                     The contest shall be divided into the following rounds:

a)      Introduction

b)      Talent (max 2 min)

c)      Question & Answer round
