Delhi Youth runs towards Common Wealth 2010
To mark the birth anniversary of former Premier of India Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru a cross country “Clean Delhi, Green Delhi Youth Run” was organized by Jagannath International Management School, Vasant Kunj on November 14, 2009. The run was organized with a view to bring awareness amongst the Delhities for cleaner and greener Delhi for the Common Wealth Games in 2010.
The Youth Run started at 07:30 Hrs from JIMS, Vasant Kunj, passed through Nelson Mandela Road, went past the DLF Vasant Kunj Mall, led up to the Traffic Lights near Priya Cinema and took a U-turn there to retreat by the same Road to JIMS Vasant Kunj. The Run was flagged off by Mr. P. K. Tripathi, Principal Secretary to the Hon'ble CM, Delhi. Other distinguished personalities attended the Run were:
