One thing becomes apparent as countries firefight the COVID-19 pandemic, the post-coronavirus world will be different politically, socially and health-wise in several aspects. Without losing everything, no one can come out of this crisis. Previous threats to individual and social freedom have not been able to change our way of life, but now our society is seriously disrupted by the pandemic. There has been a shift in the International Socio-political landscape, wherein the world’s most influential economies have struggled to cope up with the challenges posed by the pandemic.
Societies and economies across the globe have been affected by the COVID-19 crisis and will permanently reshape our planet as it continues to unfold. Although both amplifying familiar threats and introducing new ones are the implications of the crisis, change at this level often provides new opportunities for structural problems to be managed and ways to properly recover.
The unprecedented slowdown has led to the new opportunities for Businesses to reinvent themselves and decipher new models of growth and sustenance, as the older models are no longer valid in these uncertain times, the pandemic has also exposed the flip side of the economies.
Looking ahead through a wide range of issues, including trade, governance, health, labor, technology, to name a few, and consider where the risk and opportunity balance can emerge. It provides decision-makers, thought leaders, corporates, governments with a detailed image of anticipated long-term changes and motivation to take advantage of the opportunities provided by this crisis to improve the condition of the planet by formulating and implementing strategies in mitigating the negative effects of the pandemic.

The New Normal presents enormous opportunities to bounce back by implementing effective strategies. 2021 prospects look promising as there is a surge in trade, employment and income worldwide.
JIMS, Vasant Kunj invites research papers, manuscripts addressing the above theme as new ideas or theories attempt to shed light on the possible solutions in the business domain post COVID. The strategies, models and policy implications will help in advancing the knowledge and better management of systems and balancing of risk and uncertainty.
Original, empirical, high quality research papers/working papers are invited from the scholars, researchers, practitioners, academicians, social workers and students for interactions at the conference. Sub-themes are only indicative; papers on other related areas may also be submitted. Authors of selected papers would be given an opportunity to present the papers on the day of the conference and publication of the same.
1. Each manuscript must be accompanied with an abstract of 150-200 words. Please incorporate 5-6 keywords.
2. Manuscript should not exceed 5000 words.
3. All drawings, graphs, and tables should be provided on separate pages.
4. The author’s name, designation, affiliation, complete address with mobile number must be provided on a separate sheet.
5. Editorial decisions will be communicated within a period of 8 weeks of the receipt of manuscript.
6. References must follow APA style sheet.
7. Articles submitted for consideration in JIMS 8M should be accompanied with a declaration by the author that they have not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere.
8. The font should be 12 points and Times New Roman with 1.5 line spacing
