|
Jagannath International Management School, Vasant Kunj, organized the Freshers’ party for the first semester students of BA(JMC), BCA and BBA, of batch 2022-25, on 10th December, 2022, at the Ocean Pearl Gardenia, Chattarpur.
The event included dance, rap, musical, and prank performances along with a ramp walk by the respective societies of JIMS Vasant Kunj namely Fitoor, Swara, Pratibimb, Panache, and Folk.re.
The main attraction of the event was Mr. and Ms. Freshers Competition. There were three rounds of this competition; Introduction round, Talent round and Question Answer round. The event was filled with excitement, joy, music, enthusiasm, laughter and happiness.

CII YI YUVA- JIMS, Vasant Kunj, organized a guest lecture on 15th December, 2022 on the topic ‘Time Management’. The guest speaker Mr. Akarshan Srivastava, founder of 'Gotezu' - L&D and Employment Engagement Company, IIT Bombay certified teacher’s trainer, and a subject matter expert in Human Capital Development. He talked about the importance of time and stated some tips on managing time like using reminder applications, making support groups, creating to-do lists, etc.

Rotaract Club of JIMS, Vasant Kunj, in collaboration with Apertura, the photography Club, organized a Photowalk to Humayun Tomb on 17th December, 2022. Over 50 volunteers showed up for the event and each volunteer was given a task to submit five best photographs each. The walk aimed to encourage aspiring photographers to go out and capture the beauty of ancient India and explore its rich cultural heritage and architecture.

The Department of Management and Finance Department of Prabandhan, the Management Club of JIMS, Vasant Kunj, organized an industrial visit to Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), for 5th Semester students of BBA (Evening Shift), and Members of Prabandhan, on 19th December, 2022. In the visit, Mr. Mukesh Chauhan, Head of the BSE Institute, gave a presentation about the stock market where he taught about how to BID, PUT and HOLD a share. He explained the procedure and steps involved in trading of shares, and how to predict about the future buying. The goal of this visit was to enlighten the students about the Stock Market.

|
Rotaract Club of JIMS, Vasant Kunj, collaborated with District Project Rang De, in association with World Sankirtan Tour Trust by Devi Chitralekha Ji, for the successful organization of Rang De Session at Gau Seva Dham Hospital in Hodal, Near Mathura from 28th December, 2022 for 4 days. The theme of this Rang De session revolved around cows and Lord Krishna's love for them. The primary purpose of the project was to brighten up the dull and gloomy surroundings which are in dire need and low on funds, targeting primarily NGO's & social organization, orphanages & old age homes, low funded hospitals, education Institutes, and other such places. A total of 26 volunteers took up the charge to complete this project from which 3 representatives were from the Rotaract Club of JIMS, Vasant Kunj.

|
Department of Management, JIMS VK organized industry visit to Yakult Danone India Pvt. Ltd. for students of 3rd Semester on 4th November, 2022. The visit started with a presentation on Yakult which gave an insight into the history, benefits, and market presence in the Indian and foreign markets. After the presentation, the students were taken to the production area where students got to learn about how the production of Yakult drink takes place. Students were told about the quality check of the drinks which was done by specialists and at the end, the packaging process was explained and demonstrated to them.

Dear Student,
The 74th Republic Day of our nation was celebrated on 26th Jan 2023. The newly-christened Kartavya Path played host to the Republic Day Parade.
Our country marks 26th Jan every year as a national holiday to commemorate the establishment of the Indian Constitution by which our country and all citizens are governed.
We all know that India got its independence on 15th August 1947 and the country didn't have its own constitution, instead India was governed by the laws implemented by the British.
On 26 January 1950, three years after independence, India turned into a secular, sovereign, socialist and a democratic republic.
Republic Day is the day when India marks and celebrates the date on which the Constitution of India came into effect on 26 January 1950. This replaced the Government of India Act 1935 as the governing document of India, thus turning the nation into a republic separate from British Raj - a very important milestone in the history of India.
This year, total of 23 tableaux — 17 from States and Union Territories and six from various Ministries and departments depicting India’s vibrant cultural heritage, and economic and social progress were a part of the parade on the Kartavya Path. All this makes us a very proud nation.

JIMS 18th Annual Faculty/Staff Picnic JIMS FAMILY DAYOUT 2022 was organised on 24 December 2022. Inter campus cricket match, Zumba and passing the parcel were the highlights of the day. Nearly 250 faculty and staff members from across five campuses of JIMS met, interacted and had fun. The day out was a good, memorable offsite day full of activity, interaction, socializing, and sportsmanship and fun.

The game of survival consisted of three levels and the students progressed from one level to the next by competing with each other in the elimination rounds. IITF offers an ideal platform to showcase Indian products under the ‘Vocal for Local’ campaign, and infuse renewed confidence and vigour in the Indian economy. JIMS Kalkaji organised Global Academic Development Program in partnership with United Arab Emirates University, Abu Dhabi from November 16 to November 21, 2022. Students visited industrial tour to Lootah Bio Fuels, UAE University and Daman Insurance. The sessions were taken by Cintia Kulzer Sacilotto on Sustainability and Innovation, Dr. Johan Borgar on International Business and Gurdal Ertek who spoke on Artificial Intelligence and Fintech.
