Department of Information Technology, JIMS, Vasant Kunj organized an online Webinar for BCA–I semester students of I-II (Morning & Evening) Shift students on “Introduction to image processing and compression” which was taken by Dr. Sumit Kumar, Assistant Professor, IIT UNA. Speaker has keen interest in various fields such as Signal detection, HDR image processing, machine learning, multimedia security and chaotic system. The session covered the importance and introduction of Image processing and its compression. Speaker also informed about the ways in which images can be studied and how it helps in maintaining law and order, police work, medical filed and data science.
