The session was inaugrated by Dr.Ravi.K.Dhar ,Director ,JIMS VK who set theme of discussion by giving an introductory speech on the topic Economic slowdown and telling about its impact on the core industries. He in detail taked about the current issues in India with special reference to the economic slowdown. He also emphasized that Automobile sector being in decline need to be given more attention. He also highlighted that how economic slowdown is different from recession. Apart from Economic slowdown, he also put some light on demonetization and its impact on the several industries mainly telecom industry.
