The Department of Media and Communication Studies organized a guest lecture on Shifting trends in PR. The resource person was Ms. Ankita Sharma, the Sr. Account Executive of Avian Media, lecture was held on 19th of October, 2022. "Changing technology and changing trends changes everything." Ms. Ankita Sharma talked about the new trends which has been adopted by the PR companies to sustain the market with the best services to their clients. She also discussed about the role of PR after Covid-19 in present market and how PR agencies have caters the needs of their clients so that they can sustain in this competitive market. She further divided the session into parts where she explained the idea of PR plans, Digital PR and talked about how the target can be achieved. She has also explained the five top PR trends that should pilot your brand strategy in 2022: Data and analytics take center stage for PR strategies, Diversity and Inclusion reign supreme for PR, Influencer marketing is still strong, consider the personalized PR pitch, Authenticity is paramount in post-pandemic PR. Then there was open for question where Ms. Ankita Sharma has solved the queries of the students. The session was full of information where everything was explained properly.
