A session on "Soft Skills" was held by the Department of Information Technology at JIMS and presented by Ms. Kavita Rajput, a corporate trainer and former flight manager for Kingfisher. She described the term soft skills and their importance in our lives. The students were asked to get up and introduce themselves. She gave them her input on how to present themselves, speak clearly, and communicate. She helped the children develop strong personalities and a sense of self-assurance. She also talked about both verbal and nonverbal communication. She used practical examples, such as teaching students to shake hands with their partners and assess themselves. She offered balloons to the children as a way for them to decompress and enjoy the class. The class was incredibly interactive and provided the students with a wealth of knowledge.
