JIMS VK II: Fundraising and Clothing Donation drive for flood victims
The Rotaract club, under the aegis of Rotary District 3011, organized a fundraiser and clothing donation drive on 18 October 2025 to support flood victims in Punjab and Uttarakhand. The contributions collected from students, faculty, and staff were donated to the respective Chief Ministers’ Relief Funds, while cartons of clothing were handed over to the Punjab-based NGO Initiators of Change.

JIMS VK II: Club Activity on “Digital Dashboard Making”
The students of BCA 5th Semester actively participated in a Digital Dashboard making activity on 8th October,2025. The students analysed the given data and creatively designed interactive dashboards using Microsoft Excel. JIMS VK II: Industry visit to Gurudev Enterprises Tile Showroom
The first-year Interior Design students visited Gurudev Enterprises, a leading tile showroom, on 30th September 2025 as part of their experiential learning module. The visit offered valuable industry exposure, enabling students to gain first-hand knowledge of the tile manufacturing process and the various types of tiles commonly used in interior spaces. The students explored the diverse sizes and dimensions available in the market, as well as an extensive range of finishes, textures, and patterns. The showroom visit also helped students to understand the practical applications of tiles in both residential and commercial interiors, bridging the gap between theoretical learning and real-world design practices.

The Department of Journalism & Mass Communication conducted a Photography Workshop for BJMC students of VK I and VK II on 8th October 2025 at the JIMS Vasant Kunj campus, in collaboration with Canon. Led by expert photographer Mr. Rajesh, the session covered basic camera functions, illustrated through his own photographs and experiences. The workshop concluded with a Q&A session and a hands-on demo of Canon’s latest camera technology, giving students practical exposure to camera handling and photography techniques.

On 7th October 2025, much-awaited Annual Movie Day was organized which provided the faculty & staff members an opportunity to relax, rejuvenate, and strengthen collegial bonds outside the academic setting. JIMS Kalkaji: Faculty Knowledge Circle Session on Case Study Writing and Analysis
On 15th October, 2025, a faculty knowledge circle session on “Case Study Writing and Analysis” was conducted by Prof. (Dr.) Neelam Tandon who delivered an insightful and interactive presentation on the methodology and significance of case study writing and analysis. JIMS Kalkaji: Diwali Mela 2025
On 16th October, 2025, the Cultural Committee, HUNAR successfully organized a Diwali Mela for the faculty and staff members in the college campus.The campus was decorated beautifully with lights, diyas, flowers and rangolis giving it a bright festive look. Different stalls were put up with games, snacks, gifts, and festive items, which made the celebration lively and fun. Faculty and staff members took part in various activities like Tambola, Lucky Draw, and Best Traditional Attire Competition. The Diwali Mela helped bring all faculty and staff together to celebrate the festival with joy and unity.

On 29th October 2025, a Pickleball Tournament was organized which brought an exciting wave of energy, competition, and teamwork to campus. On 31st October 2025, the NSS club organized a Nukkad Natak on the theme “Ek Bharat, Aatmanirbhar Bharat” to promote the spirit of unity, self-reliance, and national pride among students and the community. To extend the impact beyond the live performance, NSS members and volunteers recorded short videos on the same theme and uploaded them on social media platforms to spread the message of “Aatmanirbhar Bharat” to a wider audience.

JIMS Kalkaji:Industry Visit to SEBI
On 3rd October, 2025, the Department of Management organized an educational industry visit to the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) for the students of BBA and B.Com (H.) The highlight of the visit was an interactive session conducted by SEBI officials, where students were given an insightful overview of SEBI’s role, structure, and functioning. The students actively participated in the Q&A session, gaining clarity on various regulatory aspects and career opportunities in the financial sector. On 8th October 2025, Prayaas – the NSS Club, in collaboration with CII and India–AIDS NGO, organized a Health and Hygiene Awareness Drive & Sanitary Pad Distribution Initiative at Kakrola, Dwarka. The awareness program began with an interactive discussion on the importance of maintaining good hygiene practices in daily life, followed by an informative session on menstrual hygiene management-addressing myths, taboos, and practical steps for better care during menstruation.

On 17th October 2025, CII Yi Yuva, in collaboration with Prayaas, the NSS Club, organized a meaningful event titled Project Umeed, aimed at supporting women-led enterprises and differently-abled entrepreneurs. This Diwali-themed drive was designed to empower local entrepreneurs by providing them with a platform to showcase their products and businesses, helping them reach a wider audience and gain recognition. The project was driven by a mission to uplift the entrepreneurial spirit of marginalized groups, especially women and differently-abled individuals, who often face barriers to accessing business resources and opportunities.

JIMS VK II: Annual Marketing Fest- Biz Fiesta’2025
The Business Talks Club of the BBA Department organized the first edition of Biz-Fiesta’25, the Annual Marketing Fest, on November 19, 2025. The event began with a warm welcome address by Dr. Gurmeet Sodhi (HOD, BBA) and was formally inaugurated through a ribbon-cutting ceremony by Director Dr. Satish Kumar Dogra, followed by the lighting of the lamp along with the alumni guests. A graceful Ganesh Vandana performed by second-year students added a cultural touch to the occasion. The fest witnessed enthusiastic participation from five JIMS campuses- Vasant Kunj-I, Kalkaji, Noida Extension, Greater Noida, and the host campus Vasant Kunj-II- across six activities: mind matrix, one-minute influencer, make a meme, reboot, trash to cash, and impression, all conceptualized by the faculty members of the department. The student-run stalls featuring food, games, and fashion accessories added vibrancy to the event. The fest concluded with the distribution of cash prizes to the winners.

Dear Student,
We are in the midst of the festive season starting from Oct 2025 and another internationally famous festival, Christmas falls on 25th Dec for which I would like to take a moment to extend my warmest greetings to each one of you. Christmas is a time of joy, reflection and gratitude providing us with an opportunity to pause and appreciate at the end of year, the accomplishments we have achieved together as a college community. We have faced challenges but we have also come together, supporting one another with kindness and understanding. Christmas reminds us of the importance of compassion, generosity and goodwill towards all. As we celebrate with family and friends, let us also remember those who may need our help, whether through small acts of kindness or larger efforts to make a positive impact in our community. The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, organized a webinar on “Managing Stress” for B.Tech CSE students on 13th October, 2025. The session was conducted by Mr. Bhaskar Dhangopalan, Project Director in the IT industry. The main objective of the webinar was to help students understand the causes and impact of stress in academic and professional life. During the session, the students were also guided regarding the practical tools which can be used to enhance their well-being and academic performance. The BBA Department organized Munaafa Hustle Quest, an innovative entrepreneurial event under the banner of Aarohan – The E-Cell on 1st October 2025. The event commenced with an inspiring address by Head of Department Dr. Ambika Rathi, followed by words of encouragement from the faculty coordinators Ms. Rashmi and Dr. Ankur. The event revolved around a unique ₹100 investment exercise, where each participating team was given the challenge to utilize a maximum investment of ₹100 to generate revenue through their business ideas. The students showcased their creativity and entrepreneurial spirit by setting up various stalls for games, soda counters, pulse shots, sweet corn, jewellery & beads charms, and Maggi food stalls. To make the competition more engaging, four entrepreneurial challenges were introduced, including selling beyond the campus, pitching as a Bollywood celebrity, Selling competitors’ products, Achieving maximum sales within the given time. The teams that not only generated the highest revenues but also completed all the challenges emerged as winners.

The BBA Department organized an Industry visit for 1st & Vth Semester students on 29th & 31st October 2025 to Haier India Limited, a leading home appliances and consumer electronics company. A total of 77 students visited Haier to gain practical insights into logistics operations, supply chain management, and cargo delivery. The session was highly interactive and provided students with practical insights into the working of the company. During the visit, the students were explained about the company’s production process- from raw material procurement to final assembly and packaging. Further, the students were also taken through different departments such as production, assembly line, quality testing, logistics, and warehouse management. The officials also discussed “Zero Distance to the Customer” philosophy, emphasizing how Haier maintains close interaction with consumers to design innovative and efficient products. Students also learned about the company’s marketing strategies, brand positioning in the Indian market, and its efforts to expand in both urban and rural segments.

The Business Analytics Club organized “The Analytics brain brawl” - an engaging quiz competition on 24th November 2025, designed to test students’ analytical thinking, data interpretation, and business analytics knowledge. A total of 35 students from the PGDM and PGDM-IB programs participated enthusiastically in two competitive rounds featuring Data trivia, case-based reasoning, and rapid-fire analytics. The Finance Club- MONEYTECH organized a workshop on “Financial wellness & planning” on 26th November 2025. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Anurag Upadhyay, Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Senior Specialist (Consultant) at Mercer, and proud alumnus of JIMS Kalkaji (Batch 2012–14). JIMS VK: Guest Lecture on Basking Forever in Happiness
The Department of Information Technology organized a motivational session on “Basking Forever in Happiness” for BCA 1st Semester students on 6th October 2025. The session was conducted by Ms. Naini Kakkar, a renowned Motivational Speaker and Life Coach associated with Science of Spirituality, India HQ Chicago, USA. Ms. Kakkar captivated the audience with her inspiring talk on living a happy and peaceful life through positive thinking, self-awareness, and spiritual balance. The event concluded with an engaging Q&A session, leaving students motivated with the powerful message that true happiness lies within, and can be nurtured through positivity and inner growth.

JIMS VK I : Diwali Celebrations 2025
On October 17, 2025, the faculty and staff celebrated Diwali with great enthusiasm and unity in the college auditorium. The occasion commenced with a festive lunch, followed by a formal program hosted by Dr. Ashneet Kaur. The event was honored by the presence of Hon’ble Chairman, Dr. Amit Gupta, who graciously distributed Diwali gifts to all faculty and staff members. The cultural segment included devotional recitations by Dr. Ashok Sharma, a soulful bhajan by Dr. Seema Wadhawan, and a melodious musical performance by Dr. Anisha Tandon, Dr. Simrat Kaur, and Mr. Sandeep. Additionally, Mr. Vineet Verma and Dr. Hakimuddin Khan captivated the audience with their engaging shayari. On 25th November 2025 the Department of Information Technology organized an industry visit to the National Science Centre, New Delhi. JIMS VK I : Visit to Network Bulls
On 4th & 12th November 2025, the Department of Information Technology, organized an industry visit to Network Bulls, Gurgaon for BCA students. The visit included an introduction to networking fundamentals such as IP and MAC addressing, network classes, OSI layers, and communication protocols. The students also explored career opportunities in networking and IT infrastructure. They also received hands-on experience using Cisco Packet Tracer, where they configured two routers for inter-router communication. The students additionally observed the functioning of routers, switches, firewalls, and IP phones, gaining insights into their industrial applications

The Department of IT in collaboration with the Alumni Committee organized the mentoring session on “Career Path in Cybersecurity for Beginners” for BCA students on 29th November 2025 on Google Meet. The session was conducted by Mr. Rudra Choudhri, an alumnus of BCA Batch 2022-25 and currently associated with Bug Hunters Pvt Ltd as a Security Engineer. On 8th November 2025, Avtaran 7.0- the flagship annual management fest, was held in a hybrid format, welcoming participants from across India.
