Dear Student,
The most colorful and joyous festival in India is Holi.
It is considered as one of the most revered and celebrated
festivals and is celebrated in almost every part of the country.
On this day people get-together forgetting all resentments and all
types of bad feelings towards each other. This festival in different
parts of the country is known with different names. The vibrancy of the
colors brings a lot of positivity in our lives and being the festival of
colors is actually a day worth rejoicing. The ritual starts by lighting up
the bonfire one day before the day of Holi and this process symbolizes the
triumph of good over bad. People play with colors with their friends and families.
This festival of colors also brings a tinge of happiness among people.
Holi is a wonderful festival teaching us life lessons in today’s multi-cultural environment.
Holi teaches us how often bad influences affect us and we need to have faith in our own principles.
We must celebrate Holi in an environmentally healthy way by using organic colors. It is important to
understand that If someone doesn’t like to celebrate Holi, we should not put color on them. The best
part about Holi is that most people play with equal enthusiasm. In this festival even the strangers
are greeted like a friend and get colored just as if people already knew them. One caution that when
indulging in foods and the sweet milk drink, it is important to use moderation in everything we do.Holi greetings to all.Holi greetings to all.
