Management Fest AVTARAN 4.0
AVTARAN 4.0 [2nd - 3rd December’ 2022]
"There are some people who live in a dream world, and there are some who face reality, and then there are those who turn one into the other.” And that’s what Prabandhan proved once again.
Continuing the legacy of Avtaran- 2021, Prabandhan- The Management Club of JIMS, Vasant Kunj under the guidance of the Management department of our college initiated the biggest management fest, AVTARAN 4.0.
It was an amazing 2-day event, conducted on 2nd and 3rd December 2022 by Team Prabandhan. We received over 1000 registrations across India. More than 50 colleges and universities participated in Avtaran 4.0 and gave a tremendous response. It was indeed rewarding as it provided an opportunity for the students to showcase their professionalism, ideas, talents, knowledge, and creativity. Overall, the event was a perfect blend of knowledge and learning.
The event kicked off with a bang on December 2nd, 2022. Various events such as Pitch Please, Brand Battle, IPL Auction 2.0, Boardroom Meeting, and Trade Fair were organized at different college campuses. On the second day, December 3rd, 2022 additional events including Trade Fair, Gaminzo, and Treasure Hunt were conducted.

PITCH PLEASE
|
Pitch please is an event in which the organizers make a list of products such that each option on the list contains a combination of products. Each participant or a group of participants is allotted a combination and is asked to create a third product with the two allotted products. The participants are then given an hour to prepare a pitch for the mentioned third product and present it before the judges.

BOARDROOM MEETING
|
A case study was given and a team of 3-4 students was formed. The students represented themselves as C-Suite Officers (CFO, CMO, CHRO, COO etc.). The board meeting was conducted and board members discussed and came up with the solutions. The team with the best and most innovative solution won.

BRAND BATTLE
|
The event was designed so that participants are assigned a failed brand and it is up to the student to turn the brand's fortunes around.

IPL AUCTION 2.0
|
‘IPL AUCTION 2.0’ provided a platform to all the students where they could test their knowledge and analytical skills related to budgeting and team building in a fun way. A list of over 270 Indian and international cricketers was shared with the participants prior to the event. In order to determine the top 15 teams that would compete in a bidding process, a qualifying round was held which consisted of a cricket-related quiz. The second round (the bidding process) was never going to be an easy task, but the participants did a spectacular job and participated with a great deal of zeal. The judges determined the results through a unanimous decision.

|
Three games were played in the event Gaminzo namely Call of Duty, Stumble Guys and Valorant.

TREASURE HUNT
|
An activity that helped the student to solve the clues and find the treasure after solving all the clues given to them in teams.

TRADE FAIR
|
An initiative to help small business owners sell their products by inviting and helping them set their stalls at JIMS Vasant Kunj. At the end of the event, the business owners were told to present the cost and revenue sheet. And based on the same, the winners for the food and non food stalls were selected.
