In a path-breaking departure from the run of the mill class room teaching, the Department of Media & Communication Studies has entered into a first of its kind collaboration in the country with TV Today Network to establish India Today JIMS Vasant Kunj News Buds.
Under this initiative, India Today has created an extended news room in the Department, overseen by a senior editor to produce news and views content for the India Today digital platform with the help of the students of the Department.
The project was launched by Mr. B. V. Rao and Mr. Asif Khan of India Today at JIMS, Vasant Kunj on 06.Sept.2022.
Ever since, the students of the Department have been producing content for the news channel with due accreditation to them.
