Guest Lecture: Social Media Writing and Etiquette

The Department of Media and Communication Studies at JIMS Vasant Kunj organized a guest lecture on the topic, "Social Media Writing and Etiquette" on 13th September 2023, for second-year students (III Semester). The guest speaker for the event was Ms. Tamanna Goel, GTE Coordinator at Stanley College (Australia). During the lecture, Ms. Tamanna emphasized the salient features of content writing and discussed various specializations within the field. She delved into the creation of engaging and compelling content, highlighting the importance of standing out in a crowded online space. The speaker also provided insights into different types of content writing and the specific skills required for each. The event aimed to enhance students' understanding of social media writing and etiquette, offering valuable insights from an industry expert.
