The Department of Information Technology, JIMS Vasant Kunj, organized a BCA Orientation Programme on 14 August 2026 for 110 newly admitted students. The programme was graced by Dr. Amit Gupta, Chairman, JIMS, Dr. Meenakshi Narula, Director, JIMS Vasant Kunj, Dr. Divya Gupta, Head, Department of Information Technology, and Ms. Parul Mehndiratta, Business Enterprise Architect at STMicroelectronics.

The programme featured insightful addresses on academic focus, professional skills, teamwork, problem-solving, adaptability, and the evolving role of Artificial Intelligence in the IT industry. Ms. Mehndiratta encouraged students to embrace emerging technologies and continuously upgrade their skills. The programme concluded with an encouraging address by Dr. Meenakshi Narula, marking the beginning of the students’ academic journey at JIMS.
