
The Institution’s Innovation Council in Collaboration with the Department of Information Technology organized a Workshop on “Design Thinking, Critical Thinking, and Innovation Design” on February 29, 2024. Dr. Anisha Tandon, Innovation Activity Coordinator and Innovation Ambassador, Ministry of Education, enlightened the students on the process and aspects of design thinking, critical thinking, and innovation design.
Students were given insights into the design thinking process including Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test. Critical thinking and its difference from design thinking were highlighted clearly with relevant examples. The discussion moved on to the importance and aspects of innovation design. The discussion concluded with an emphasis on educating students on the skills required to foster innovation successfully.
The workshop was interactive and students actively engaged with the teacher asking questions and presenting opinions, creating an environment to build an innovative and entrepreneurial mindset.
