The Department of Media and Communication Studies, JIMS Vasant Kunj, successfully organized a one-week Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Digital Storytelling in the Age of AI” from 5–10 January 2026, with participation from 47 faculty members. The programme featured expert sessions by eminent academicians and industry professionals on topics including AI-driven storytelling, research ethics, media literacy, fact-checking, digital communication, and innovative pedagogy.

The FDP provided valuable insights into the ethical and effective use of AI in education, research, and media while equipping participants with practical tools and strategies for enhancing teaching and storytelling practices. The programme concluded with a valedictory session led by Dr. Meenakshi Narula, Director, JIMS Vasant Kunj, and Dr. Sonam Mahajan, Head, Department of Media and Communication Studies.
