On 4th and 12th November 2025, the Department of Information Technology, JIMS Vasant Kunj, organized an Industry visit to Network Bulls for BCA 5th semester students. The objective was to provide students with practical exposure to networking technologies.The session included an introduction to networking fundamentals such as IP and MAC addressing, network classes, OSI layers, and communication protocols. Students also explored career opportunities in networking and IT infrastructure.They then received hands-on experience using Cisco Packet Tracer, where they configured two routers for inter-router communication. Students additionally observed the functioning of routers, switches, firewalls, and IP phones, gaining insights into their industrial applications.
