The Department of Information Technology, JIMS Vasant Kunj, in collaboration with IIC, IQAC, and TSN Security, successfully organized a five-day online Faculty Development Programme on "Emerging Technologies for Academia and Industry" from 6–10 July 2026. The programme received 481 registrations and benefited 181 active participants.

The FDP featured expert sessions by distinguished academicians and industry professionals, including Dr. Shilpi Sharma, Dr. Neha Agrawal, Mr. Aman Singh, Dr. Swati Singla, Mr. Amit Goel, Dr. Anamika Jain, and Prof. (Dr.) Divya (Upadhyay) Mishra. The sessions covered key topics such as Cybersecurity, IoT & OT Security, Prompt Engineering, Deep Learning, Large Language Models, Reinforcement Learning, Low Power IoT Networks, Machine Learning, Power BI, Generative AI, and Agentic AI.

Through expert lectures, live demonstrations, case studies, and interactive discussions, participants gained practical insights into emerging technologies and their applications in academia and industry. The FDP successfully enhanced technical knowledge, promoted innovation and research, strengthened academia-industry collaboration, and encouraged the ethical adoption of advanced technologies.
