The Department of Media and Communication Studies organized a guest lecture on 18th September, 2025 on the topic “Breaking the hype: Tech journalism from gadgets to AI.” The resource person was Mr. Manas Tiwari, Technology Editor and Business Head.

 Mr. Tiwari, drawing from his rich professional experience, enlightened the students on the significance of gadgets and use of AI in tech journalism. He explained that technology is not just a for the experts but also for people who want to begin it as a passion. He elaborated on the crucial role of gadgets and the use of AI in journalism and how effective communication acts as a bridge between the people who are interested in the new technologies. Mr. Tiwari emphasized a lot in his experiences in journalism from the past and how he is now dedicated as a business head.

Concluding his session, Mr. Tiwari underlined that Tech professionals in a country play a pivotal role as communicators and relationship-builders.He further advised the students to prepare for the upcoming responsibilities related to their interested fields in the future to help strengthen their basic and core levels. He encouraged them to combine academic excellence with practical skills to establish themselves successfully in the domain of Tech knowledge and media communication.
