Established in 2003, JIMS, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi, has emerged as one of the topmost institutes of GGSIPU in Delhi in just over a decade. The college has been awarded the highest grade, 'A', by the Joint Assessment Committee of GGS Indraprastha University, the Govt. of NCT of Delhi, and by the University Academic Audit Committee. It has also been awarded 'A+', the highest grade, by the State Fee Regulatory Committee of the Govt. of NCT of Delhi for the last five years. The institute has also been awarded 'A+' Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, Bengaluru.

The Institute offers advanced computing facilities with well-equipped Labs featuring clusters using Windows XP, Windows 2000, and Windows NT Servers. Software includes C, C++, Visual Studio 6.0, .Net, and RHEL.
Community Radio
JIMS Campus Radio Community carry a variety of programs (relating to campus) including news, sports, discussion, event announcements as well as general music.
Mass Comm. Studio
An Audio-Visual studio has been established for various purposes of shooting i.e.- Live, anchoring, Panel discussion, Interview, Group discussion, etc.
Smart Classrooms
All the classrooms are equipped with LCD projectors and computer systems. All classrooms are well furnished and fully air-conditioned.
